News from Warrawee - June 2014

This is a well overdue news update - lots been happening and many new owners of Warrawee horses that I can take pride in watching. The Australian Arabian Championships are in Victoria next year 2015 - late February, early March. Lets pull out all stops to make it an amazing event.

A lovely couple from Germany Kim Ulbrich and Daniel Ivanovic called at Warrawee recently on a visit to Australia. Kim now owns Warrawee Adoree and campaigns her in Germany and they called in to visit Adoree's extended family.

Check out our Sales List for horses available now including three fabulous saddle horses looking for lovely homes.

We had three amazing foals this season - and have had our share of bad luck also. 2012 Warrawee Ashantee lost her filly foal at birth, and this season Warrawee Loleeta lost hers at birth - both mispresented - both Royal Hit fillies - of course we were devastated. Warrawee Jive Queen tested in foal to Furst Love this season has reabsorbed so our only foal due this season is Warrawee Ashantee in foal to the Warmblood - Versace - fingers crossed for a no-problem birth from our very special mare as this will probably be her last foal. Warrawee Jive Queen (Jive Magic/Warrawee Ashantee) had a Royal Hit filly - adore her so she is named Warrawee J'adoree.

Warrawee Azuree (Rangeview Landstrom (Heini/Monopol)xWarrawee Ashantee) had a fabulous Royal Hit colt to be retained for the moment, and Warrawee Glory Bee (Arabian Park Banner x King(Imp)mare) had an outstanding colt to be gelded by Warrawee Deecor. He is offered for sale. He is of the quality of Masterpeece and Intreeg.

Jenni Fairweather reported on the passing of the beautiful purebred mare Warrawee Sahra by Arabian Park Banner - a sad time for her and us. Sahra was the dam of quite a few foals for Warrawee including Warrawee Savahn who won the heavyweight division of the Quilty. She was also the dam of Jenni's Jensems Suzie Q who was Supreme purebred at The Arabian Magic, also did well at Equitana and at the recent East Coast Championships.

Jacqui Langfield sent us some photos of the babies of Warrawee Jaliya and reports following her Gemsfield Cleopatra's Australian Champion win she was highly placed at the Stock Horse Nationals in Tamworth - not bad for a derivative in my eyes to have been highly placed at the top level in both her registrations - this following on from her Best Junior ASH exhibit at Brisbane Royal. Her full brother Gemsfield Commando is following in her footsteps being sashed Champion Australian Stockhorse, Champion Arabian Stock Horse and then Supreme foal at his first outing. At the recent DA Summer Show in Canberra Cleopatra was Champion Hunter Galloway Led, Champion Large Breeds and taking out Supreme Led Breeds. Well done Jacquie. Warrawee Jaliya a mare much treasured.
