STOP PRESS - more news from Germany

Warrawee Adoree’s registration has come through from the Oldenburger Verband – she has been placed as a Main Studbook Mare in the Oldenburger Stud Book in Germany  – how is that for our Australian bred beautiful Anglo mare to be so well thought of.  Evidently the Classifiers really liked her as well as De Futuro – graded Premium Foal.  Congratulations Sandra Baljeu and family.

STOP PRESS - news just in from Germany

Sandra Baljeu has forwarded exciting news from Germany that the colt foal out of Warrawee Adoree got Premium foal Award at the Oldenburger Main Foal Show and Mare Registration which took place at the Schockemoehle Stud Farm in Germany.  Adoree’s foal was by the up and coming young German stallion Daddy Cool.  The Judges really liked him and the Schockemoehle Breeding Manager immediately approached and wanted to know the history of the mare and what was to happen with the colt.

Congratulations Sandra and Andre and may this be the start of your home grown success in Germany following on the earlier success of Perelin under saddle (see earlier News).

Just shows our Aussie bred mares are capable of competing with the best in Europe.

Warrawee Adoree is by Warrawee Grandee out of the Warrawee Dundee Anglo mare Mt.William Deena who we sadly lost a couple of months ago (see earlier news).  She would have been so proud.

The Anglo gelding Warrawee Breez has been broken to saddle and Rebecca Lewin is thrilled with her "beautiful boy".  Hopefully we will see him out and about this year at halter and maybe later in the season some ridden classes.  Certainly one we will be watching.

In the last news we reported on 13 y.o. Sarah May who owned Warrawee Akayir (Jack) and his success.  Then sadly further news saying she had lost him in April from a broken leg.  Such sadness.

Sarah says that just before his death he won the Barwon Valley O.D.E. in grade 3, First in Dressage and overall.  We wish you all the best Sarah with your new horse.

Deb Fairburn who owns the Australian National Champion Anglo Gelding under Saddle Warrawee Mardee Gras advises they are now training under Miguel Tavora and progressing beautifully and he is now a much more mature horse physically and mentally.  Good luck Deb.

Took a trip to Tasmania to visit friend Lee Hanson of Bevanlee Riding Ponies who own the fabulous Anglo stallion Warrawee Gulfstreem (Warrawee Grandee/Warrawee Nadra).  Lee has made the long trip from Western Australia to Tasmania with all her horses to the most wonderful property.  Great to see the Gulfstreem progeny – in particular a fabulous filly that Lee may campaign later on if time allows.

Our lovely Warrawee Maybee Madonna, Reserve Australian National Champion Anglo filly, is presently being broken to saddle and from all accounts, going really well.
