ARCHIVE News from Warrawee - December 2010

We mourn the passing of our much loved mare Adronica ASB on the 31st October, 2010 at 27 years of age.  She was the dam of our stallion Warrawee Grandee, also Warrawee Dundee (dec'd), Warrawee Bon Jovee, Warrawee Ashantee - all Australian National Champion Anglo Arabians Warrawee Preevu Reserve Yearling and our yearling Anglo colt Warrawee Adageeo - already an A Class Champion as a yearling. This colt is being kept to stand in the footsteps of our Grandee.  The Grandee and Dundee progeny have been outstanding and the full sisters have gone on to be outstanding broodmares.  Most of her daughters were retained and used as broodmares at the Stud and the geldings sold to lucky people.  She is buried with her long time partner Arabian Park Banner at the Stud.  "God Bless you our lovely lady"

Well as promised photo of Warrawee Savahn who won the Heavyweight Division of the Quilty - 58 entries in this sections - congratulations again.

Warrawee Savahn

and we hear that Warrawee Mazhar a placegetter in an earlier Quilty is back into endurance again - great news Ann Marie - good luck.

The 2 y.o. Arabian Warmblood filly Warrawee Beyoncee out of our Australian Champion Anglo mare Warrawee Ashantee and by Royal Hit (Imp) has been sold to The Bisset family.  Beyoncee at her only showing was Supreme Warmblood as a yearling at the 2009 Victorian Arabian Classic.  She is a magnificent filly and we wish them all the best with her. She will be out at halter this year then Keely plans a career for her under saddle. We look forward to seeing her out.

Warrawee Katareenah - Anglo Arabian mare - (Trystan Bobbi Dazzlah/Smart Square ASB)  has been sold to Whitmere Riding Ponies.  Smart Square produced the fabulous Warrawee Mardee Gras and we hope her daughter continues as a great producer for Greg and Darren.

Good luck Katareenah.

Nice to hear Warrawee Valenteeno out again.  This young horse has enormous talent we believe. The Rounds family has Shay Smith riding him while Pip and Ella continue their University and Year 12 commitments.  He has had two starts over tough courses for a horse just starting his career eventing with two clear cross country and two clear showjumping in each, and won the dressage at his first outing also.  Good news Genevieve.

The young Anglo Warrawee Gay Paree was Champion Anglo Arabian Colt or Gelding 2 years& Under and Champion 2 y.o. and under Arabian Derivative Exhibit at the Spring Affair Gatton Queensland.  He also won his class at the Top of the Range event at Toowoomba. Congratulations Saskia and Beate.
